1. Introduction to CTA network access authentication
CTA stands for China Type Approval, which refers to the model approval and network access certification of telecommunications terminal equipment in China. According to current Chinese laws and regulations, the state implements a network access licensing system for telecommunication terminal equipment, radio communication equipment, and inter-network telecommunication devices used in public telecommunication networks (including Mobile, Unicom, and Telecom). Telecommunication equipment subject to this licensing system must obtain a network access license issued by the Ministry of Information Industry. The CTA network access license is issued by the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (CTA) under China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As the national certification authority for telecommunications equipment, it conducts mandatory certifications for telecommunication terminals, radio communication devices, and inter-network equipment. This ensures compliance with national technical standards while guaranteeing safe and reliable operation of these critical systems.
It should be noted that the validity period of CTA network access license is generally 3 years, and the licensed enterprises need to plan and arrange the renewal of the license in advance to ensure that the telecommunication equipment produced by the enterprises can continue to be used in China's telecommunication network.
3. Scope of CTA network access authentication and control products
All telecommunication terminal equipment, radio communication equipment and equipment related to inter-network interconnection connected to the public telecommunication network must meet the standards stipulated by the state and obtain the network access license (including network access trial approval) issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

Product quality requirements
Communication equipment shall have stable performance and reliable quality, and be able to run for a long time under normal use conditions. The appearance and structure of the product shall meet the design requirements without obvious defects and damage.
1. Safety requirements
Electrical safety: The equipment shall comply with electrical safety standards and have good insulation performance and grounding protection to prevent electric shock and fire and other safety accidents.
Electromagnetic compatibility safety: the equipment should work normally in the electromagnetic environment, without excessive electromagnetic interference to other equipment, and at the same time, it can resist the external electromagnetic interference.
2. Environmental requirements
Communication equipment should comply with environmental standards to reduce pollution to the environment. For example, the use of harmful substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium should be restricted.
3. Identification requirements
Communication equipment that has obtained CTA access license should be marked with certification mark and relevant information on the product for user identification and regulatory inspection.
